Grimes County
Grimes County is located on the South-East side of the Brazos Valley. The county is made up of 8 cities – Anderson, Bedias, Iola, Navasota, Richards, Roans Prairie, Shiro, & Todd Mission. The county is named for Jesse Grimes, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and early European-American settler of the county.
