2025 New & Upcoming Businesses in the Brazos Valley

Since this time last year, the Brazos Valley has seen a fresh wave of new openings. From crave-worthy treats at Dirty Dough, Cinnaholic, and Mochinut to flavorful bites and drinks at Frida’s Kitchen & Bar and Elia Café Tapas Bar. Plus two local standouts featured in our 2024 12 Days of Local Giveaways: Evie + Oak & 1868 Landmark. A charming children’s boutique and  beloved new restaurant in Calvert, are must-visits for unique finds and memorable meals. The Brazos Valley continues to grow with plans well into 2026.

Sunbeam Bagels Brand new to Downtown Bryan, they are serving up fresh hand rolled bagels, coffee, sandwiches, soup and salad. Located on S. Main St.

The Owl – Sister to Sunbeam Bagels, Downtown Bryan’s newest pub & grill offers daily specials plus weekly trivia night and juke box piano. Located on S. Main St.

Houston Hot Chicken – Offering Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches and other southern-inspired favorites. Known for their signature house sauce, HHC’s ingredients are all natural, sourced responsibly, free range, and never frozen. Don’t forget about them during tailgating season! Located on University Dr.

Madden’s Casual Gourmet – Offering a cozy, inviting atmosphere for dining! Enjoy Mad Taco at lunch and gourmet options for dinner. Located on the bottom floor of Phillip’s Event Center.

Karma Kolache – Opened in March of 2025, this is the place to induldge your sweet tooth and savor homemade kolaches of all kinds. Located on University Dr.

Wacked Out Weiner – A new food truck serving the original Nathan’s all beef hot dogs. Veteran and family owned and operated, their goal was to bring something different to the area that offers good food, fun, and affordability. Red’s Ice House – Brought to you by the creators of Porter’s and Juanita’s, Red’s Ice House combines rustic charm with elevated dining. Offering patio seating, live music, and nightly specials! Located on University Dr.

SoCo Head Spa & Blow Dry Bar – Opened in Summer 2025, SoCo is a luxury wellness destination specializing in advanced scalp treatments and holistic hair care. Located on Stillmeadow Dr.

Coyote Moon Coffee – Roastery in Caldwell and storefront in Bryan, this shop bring you a variety of ground & whole coffee beans, cold brew DIY, and k-cups. Located on Rosemary Dr.

Long John Silver’s – Same spot, new building! LJS re-opened in Summer 2025 still serving up the classic fried fish and chips. Located on S Texas Ave.

La Madeleine – French-inspired cafe planned for late 2025 offers a cozy blend of charm and comfort, warm hospitality, and high-quality, handcrafted meals.

Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille – The new Bryan location will feature movies, bowling, an arcade, restaurant & bar! Special features include a second level for 21+ with bowling, dining, Only Sons Brewery, and a balcony. The Grove, an outdoor amphitheater will have live music and outdoor movies, yard games, plus indoor and outdoor Pickleball courts! Located in Travis Midtown Park.

Pickleball Kingdom – Led by Sheryl Miller, a Texas A&M graduate and long-time College Station resident, Pickleball Kingdom plans to open in the Fall of 2025. Offering 17 professional-grade indoor courts for year-round play. Sheryl is committed to giving back to organizations in the community that give a hand up to the poor, hungry, or homeless. Located on S. Texas Ave.

Wild Grain Cafe – Formerly Babes Donut, this new cafe is offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options like artisan sandwiches, pastries, baked goods, coffee; plus, weekend brunch and event pop-ups! Opening date is TBD. Stay tuned Located on S. Texas Ave.

Midtown Golf Club – Opening date is TBD for this state-of-the-art indoor golf facility. MGC is everything golf, under one roof; 3 Trackman bays, a putting green, a full-service club shop, golf lessons, and club fitting.
