It’s time to turn-ip over another leaf. Summer is becoming a distant memory, holidays are upon us, and cooler months are ahead so we can finally breathe a sign of re-leaf! The changing of leaves, pumpkins all around…it’s Fall coming back to me now!

Early fall is the perfect time to finish up outdoor projects and complete home/yard maintenance before winter arrives.

• Clean rugs – I love to clean my rugs during the warmer months because I can take them outside. The sun is wonderful at killing bacteria and odors. Plus it allows the rugs to dry very quickly.

• Clean gutters & downspouts

• Aerate, fertilize, & reseed lawn

• Repair or replace failing home appliances before the holidays

• Replace batteries in smoke & carbon monoxide detectors

• Clean and sanitize trash & recycle bins

• Switch ceiling fan directions – for Spring/Summer your fan should be rotating counterclockwise. During the colder months, you want to switch it back so that it rotates clockwise.
